Tammy began her career as a medic in the U.S. Army where she completed 3 years of service. After leaving the military, she took time to get married and raise three children before returning to college in 2003. After graduation, she immediately obtained employment in the Level 1 Trauma Center at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where she was a well-respected member of the staff, often assisting in precepting newly hired nurses. While at Henry Ford, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated with honors. After 15 years, she left the hospital to pursue a career in Case Management, where Tammy strives not only to advocate for her clients, but to maintain great working relationships with insurance adjusters and providers to ensure all her clients’ medical needs are met. Tammy also works part time doing Utilization Review for the emergency departments in the Metro Detroit area.
